Holidays
Well last week I went up to Rotorua with my wife's kapahaka group from the Papaioea Campus of Te Wananga o Aotearoa. The event was the Matawananga, a kapahaka competition for all the campuses of TWOA. I enjoyed the whole week; from the delicious kai to the whakawhanaungatanga, it was choice. I was given the task of filming the performances and taking pictures. To cap it off Papaioea won the competition and celebrated accordingly.
When I came back to Palmerston North I decided to do some shopping and came upon these shoes - the HPC air force 1's. No they are not called that, but their colour and design are perfectly matched to our school uniform. They are probably not suitable for playing Touch in but maybe Basketball.
Anyway the holidays are drawing to a close now and we are back to school for the last term of the year. I will endeavour to get the school magazine out at the end of the year together with Kui Kataraina because it has been a long time coming - 4 years. Thanks to Ihaka for leaving comments about their trip in Italy. I hope you and Jason enjoyed it thoroughly. Ngā mihi nui hoki ki a koutou ngā whanaunga nō Rapanui. Kia ora ra koutou katoa.
To my class and others who used the SWARM last term I hope you enjoyed it, and it enhanced your learning experience. Hopefully we can get it back again for good. See you all back at school.
